Securing the Liner

Anchor Trench System

To prevent the irrigation lagoon liner from mislaying its shape or falling into the lagoon itself, it is vital that the liner is firmly fixed. The most easy technique to follow is one in which we bury the edges of the liner in an anchor trench surrounding the lagoon.

Dependant on the size and scale of the lagoon; the positions, dimensions and stress on the liner must be taken into consideration. The trench should usually be set back at least 500mm from the edge and should be roughly 300mm x 300mm as shown in the image below.
