Below is a step by step guide showing a typical lagoon installation.
Key Facts
Location: Woodside, Jersey
Material Use: 1.00mm Firestone EPDM
Size: 2000sq. meters
Time to install: 4 Days
Stage 1: Ground Preparation
Prior to the liner installation the lagoon is excavated to the required dimensions. During this stage an anchor trench is dug. This will be used to hold the edges of the liner in place
Stage 2: Base Matting Installation
Protective matting is then laid across the base to protect the liner from sharp objects.
Stage 3: Liner Installation
Once the matting has been laid the liner is installed over the top. This overflows into the trench where it will be anchored securely
Stage 4: Seam Joining
During the installation any seams between rolls of liner are securely joined using specialist tapes and adhesives.
Stage 5: Installation Complete
The irrigation lagoon liner installation is now complete after just 4 days, leaving a high quality, durable and highly functional irrigation lagoon.
Stage 6: Lagoon in Use
Just a short while later the lagoon is in full operational use, ensuring a reliable supply of water to the customer.
